Something to be thankful for

You know, in today's hustle and bustle, it's easy to get caught up in the drowning credit crisis, historic job loss, challenging work demands, home life to-do's, screaming offspring, married/non-married life, ..yeah, all of that. Inspite of it all, we have a lot to be thankful for. For some of us, it might be our great health, others, that awesome thanksgiving meal that we didn't count the calories for, and yet others a warm home to come home to. And then there are those of us that have all three, not to mention numerous other blessings. Here at Heaven Sown, allow us to challenge you as we challenge ourselves to appreciate what we have EVERY day. Fate could always deal another set of cards. Today as I look over our boys playing with jump ropes and watching Sonic Heros, amongst a mound of unfolded clothes, a dry sod-ridden entryway, and a cloudy day, I am thankful for 3 sets of healthy fingers and toes, and a reminder to stop and smell the roses every once in a while...er, or in this case, the camelias. Happy Holidays everyone! Photo Credits: P3
